When heartbreak happens, most people can swear that they feel actual physical pain. There’s some truth to this, and science backs it up. This is because scientists believe that emotional and physical pain are both processed in the same parts of the brain. So, when you’re going through an abrupt breakup, your heartbreak may very well feel like physical pain. The best way to deal with this kind of pain is to have some way of coping.
